Marina del Este is the cosy marina in-between La Herradura and Almuñecar. The Marina lives up to the summer but also has a life in the winter months as there are many divers, fishermen and strollers who visit the marina. You can find amphoras, coins and other wreckages in the water if you are lucky. On land there is a rich life, many fruits, vegetables and even tropical fruits grow here. The area belongs to the Granada Province so when you order a drink you get a tapa for free. Just 60 minutes to great skiing in Sierra Nevada, or to the very city of Granada with its rich variety of culture, gastronomy, music and shopping and just 40 minutes to Malaga, which has become the new Barcelona with bars, restaurants, art, history, football, and airport. Then you have a lot to see and experience close by
