The beautiful port Bogaz is located on the east coast road near Iskele. A place where you can find a beautiful harbor, a few small hotels and B & B and fish restaurants. This is a cosy place with some lovely beaches on the other side of town.The pier is also a place with wellkept gardens that is a pleasure to visit. In the evenings Bogaz comes alive, with local music and entertainment. The locals is often coming down to walk along the pier to meet up with friends and family. As a touristic area Bogaz can satisfy most peoples taste– when it comes to watersport, boat trips, rent a car or go for a walk. When you go further down the coastal road about 15 minutes north from Famagusta you find the village Mehemetcik, also a place worth a visit. It holds the annual popular Grape Festival usually in the month of august.
