Denia is located between Alicante and Valencia on the northern Costa Blanca and is also called Marina Alta. Denia is also the capital of Marina Alta and has approximately 45,000 inhabitants. On the northern part is Las Marinas with 15 km of sandy beach and many people who want to windsurf come here, while the southern part has more rocky beaches and bays.
