Aguas Nuevas - Torrevieja is located on the coast of the southern Costa Blanca, a little tucked in between the 5-kilometer-long La Mata beach and the exuberant city of Torrevieja. La Mata Beach is one of Costa Blanca's most esteemed beaches and has been awarded with several blue flags over the years (Euorpean Blue Flag). EBF only distributes flags to the beaches that are of high quality when talking and cleanliness and safety. There are another 8 blue flag beaches near Aguas Nuevas.
If you are looking for something more adventurous for the children or the child itself, you can also visit the Aquopolis water park with fun slides and several pools. Inside the city of Torrevieja there are many ways to entertain, you can shop in the large shopping center or visit the arcade for bowling, table hockey and video games. There is of course also a cinema in Torrevieja. Golf is something that interests many on the Spanish sun coast. Three golf courses are just under 40 minutes outside the city. In size, these vary from 48km to 50km. If you feel like going out for a good dinner or just enjoying the peace and sipping on a cup of coffee, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes in town. However, there are evenings that you want to be at home and take it easy, you get hungry you can always visit their fridge as you filled with goods either from LIDL or CARREFOUR which are both centrally and close.
