La Mata, a 2300-meter-long and over 40-meter-wide beach, is located at the Torrevieja district of Torrelamata. To the south, it borders on Cape Cervera, and to the north it delimits the La Mata Tower area, which has given its name to this area. It has a really long esplanade that runs along the entire beach, where you can visit many chiringuitos and restaurants.
